How Can A Broke Man Be Happy?
How Can A Broke Man Be Happy?

The Dixon Brothers
Styles: Country
Catalogue Number: ACMCD4022
During the American depression of the 1930’s ‘brother’ harmony acts were extremely popular, but the Dixons were like none other. Their harmonies were those inherited from Darby And Tarlton (ACRCD 4016) and their instrumental sound, constructed around Howard’s slide playing, was vastly different from the finger-picked guitars and mandolins of similar artists. The Dixons sold considerable amounts of records in their time and performed regularly on Radio. These bluesy song stories will appeal to Blues, Country and Americana fans.
